Elsa Rottoli successfully defended her PhD thesis, which was presented at the Università degli Studi di Milano (IT) on March 16th, 2018. Her thesis title was “ATP-gated P2X7 receptor as a novel checkpoint molecule in T effector/memory cell function” and the work has been done in the T Cell Development group head by Prof. Fabio Grassi at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine, in Bellinzona. Her PhD committee was composed by James Pease from the Imperial College London (UK), Carlo E. Pucillo from the University of Udine (IT) and Annalisa Del Prete from the University of Brescia (IT), while her external examiners were Jens Geginat from the Istituto Nazionale Genetica Molecolare Milano (IT) and Prof. Marcus Thelen from the IRB. Elsa Rottoli received the title of “PhD in Experimental Medicine and Medical Biotechnologies” from the Università degli Studi di Milano.
