The successful dermatological meeting, promoted by the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and always held at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) in Bellinzona, has now reached its 12th edition and this year it will take place as a web-meeting.
The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged us to find new education and networking opportunities that don’t rely on face-to-face solutions. Through this new formula, the event that annually attracted dermatologists and researchers from Switzerland and Northern Italy, extends its scientific and educational message to a wider audience.
This 3-hour meeting offers stimulating topics not only of interest to dermatologists, but also to allergologists, immunologists, internists and oncologists by addressing areas with significant clinical and interdisciplinary overlap.
The programme consists of a basic research session dedicated to the new achievements in immunodermatology and a clinical session focused on controversies and pitfalls in the fields of inflammatory skin diseases and cutaneous neoplasms.
Distinguished researchers and clinicians with well-recognized experience will lead the event.
Medical progress always benefits from the cooperation of both researchers and clinicians by raising questions, designing clinical and scientific studies, applying new diagnostic and therapeutic methods, and by providing appropriate material and information about patients and diseases.
It is our pleasure to announce and cordially invite all of you to take advantage of this free online meeting (please register here), which will provide the opportunity to gain new knowledge on the recent advances in the fields of dermatology and immunology, and to foster collaboration.
