Sabrina Casella successfully defended her PhD thesis, which was presented at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) of Bellinzona (CH) on August 27th, 2019. Her thesis title was “The biochemistry of ACKR3 and its role in diffuse large B cell lymphoma” and the study was conducted in the Signal Transduction lab headed by Prof. Marcus Thelen at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine, in Bellinzona. Her PhD committee was composed by Prof. Daniel Legler (co-advisor) from the University of Konstanz (DE) and Prof. Yitzhak Zimmer (mentor) from the University of Bern (CH), while her external Co-referee was Prof. Peter Gierschik from the University of Ulm (DE). Sabrina Casella received the title of “PhD in Cell Biology” from the Graduate School for Cellular and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Bern (CH).
