Eric Armentani successfully defended his PhD thesis, which was presented at the University of Genova (IT) on December 7th, 2017. His thesis title was “Deciphering new aspects of CNS autoimmunity: innate and adaptive immune response in the brain” which summarizes the results of two different projects carried out in two different laboratories; the Neuroimmunology unit laboratory of Prof. Antonio Uccelli at the University of Genova and the Cellular Immunology group head by Prof. Federica Sallusto at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine, in Bellinzona, (CH). His PhD committee was composed by Prof. Antonio Uccelli, Prof. Fabio Benfenati and Dr. Marina Grandis from the University of Genova, while his external examiners were Prof. Giuseppe Matarese from University of Naples “Federico II” and Prof. Marco Salvetti University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Eric received the title of “PhD in Neuroscience” from the University of Genova.
