Viola Puddinu successfully defended her PhD thesis, which was presented at the University of Bern on December 13th, 2016. Her thesis title was “Role of the atypical chemokine receptor 3 in diffuse large B cell lymphoma” and the work has been done in the Signal Transduction laboratory of Marcus Thelen. Her co-advisor was Prof. Adrian Ochsenbein, her mentor Prof. Jens V. Stein, both from the University of Bern, while her external examiner was Prof. Peter Gierschik from the University of Ulm, Germany. Viola received received the title of “PhD in Science of Cell Biology”.
