Jessica Merulla successfully defended her PhD thesis, which was presented at the University of Bern, Switzerland. Her work entitled “Deciphering the complexity of mammalian ER quality control and ERAD pathways” was performed in the laboratory of Maurizio Molinari. Jessica’s co-referees at the University of Bern were Peter Bütikofer and Mario Tschan.
