The IRB provides its scientists with access to state-of-the-art core facilities and other resources in support of biomedical research (e.g. Human subject research support and Grants office).
The core facilities provide in particular:
- Assistance with experimental design;
- Individual training and courses;
- Sample preparation and acquisition, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
Since 2022, most of the IRB core facilities are also Bios+ facilities, being shared with the IOR and LTR-EOC laboratories. Only the Bioinformatics and Protein production facilities are restricted to IRB users at this time.
