Ylenia Silvestri successfully defended her PhD thesis, which was presented at the University of Bologna on November 29th, 2019. Her thesis title was “The role of CD8+CCR4+ T-cells in axial spondyloarthritis” and the study was conducted in the Chemokines in Immunity lab headed by Prof. Mariagrazia Uguccioni at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine, in Bellinzona. Her PhD committee was composed by Prof. Pietro Cortelli (coordinator); Prof. Flavio Flamigni (Supervisor), Prof. Matilde Yung Follo (co-supervisor), Prof. Alessandra Lugaresi, Prof. Corrado Alberto di Martino, all from the University of Bologna (IT); and Prof. Pietro Gobbi from the University of Urbino (IT). Ylenia Silvestri received the title of “PhD in Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences” from the University of Bologna (IT).
