Over 200 participants from Switzerland, Europe and overseas, including a considerable number of young scientists, attended the Conference, which took place on September 12th-14th, 2018 and focused on concepts and methods in programmed cell death and autophagy. Alessandro\u2019s work entitled \u201c<em>Endoplasmic Reticulum Quality Control of Collagen in Eukaryotic Cells<\/em>\u201d was selected amongst about 70 posters presented at the Conference.
