Her thesis title was \u201c<em>DNA methylation dynamics in the&nbsp;functional regulation of human T lymphocytes<\/em>\u201d and the work has been done in the&nbsp;Molecular Immunology lab group head by Dr. Silvia Monticelli at the Institute&nbsp;for Research in Biomedicine, in Bellinzona. Her PhD committee was composed by&nbsp;Prof. Margot Thome Miazza, Dr. Nathalie Rufer, Prof. Daniel Speiser, all of&nbsp;them from the University of Lausanne (CH), while her external examiner was&nbsp;Prof. Tuncay Baubec from the University of Zurich (CH).
